RePaint Scotland donates 10% of all paint uplifted from your Recycling Centres/Civic Amenity Centres to local community and voluntary groups who, in turn, can help disadvantaged service users.
RePaint Scotland has donated over 10,000 litres of paint to various groups and organisations since October 2008. These groups include schools, recycling organisations, rehabilitation clinics, allotments, sports teams and community halls.
The Hopscotch Theatre group in Glasgow used the paint donated to design and paint their summer and winter pantomime scenery.
Hillhead Primary School in Kilmarnock painted their school emblem with masonry paint donated on an outbuilding and got pupils to help using bright colours to paint their handprints around the emblem.
The Space Place is an organisation in Prestwick, South Ayrshire for school children aged Primary 4 and upwards. They used paint donated to create a graffiti art section that the young people could decorate.
